MAESOT MISSION – MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

Since May 2024, Whitehouse Community Church, together with WA Foursquare Head Office, has been actively serving Burmese refugees in Mae Sot, Thailand.

We are focused on four key areas of impact:

1. Child Sponsorship
We support refugee children aged 6–18, focusing on their education and basic needs.
💛 $30 per child/month (12-month commitment)
🎯 Goal for 2026: Sponsor 100 children

2. Feeding Programme
We provide essential food supplies to 5 refugee villages around Mae Sot.
🍚 $12 feeds a family of four for 2 weeks
Includes:
• 10kg rice
• 6 cans of sardines
• 1 litre cooking oil
• 10 packets of instant noodles

🎯 Goal for 2026: Feed 500 families

3. Housing & Vehicles Projects
🏠 $500 builds a basic home for a family of four
🚐 $17,000 raised for a people mover
🚗 Blessed with a $20,000 Toyota Hilux (acquired for $1,000 + transfer & insurance)

4. Sustainability Projects
We are developing long-term solutions through:
🌱 Vegetable farming
🐖 Piggery
🐓 Chicken coop
🐟 Fish farming
